Prof. Dr. Urs Wälchli has been a member of InnoMedica's Board of Directors since 2019 and was elected Chairman in 2025. Before this, he had advised the Board of Directors primarily on governance, strategy, and finance. He is a visiting professor at the Simon Business School of the University of Rochester, New York, and a visiting professor at the London Business School (LBS). The focus of his research, teaching and consulting work is the financing and management of innovative companies.
Urs Wälchli studied economics at the University of Bern, where he completed his doctorate. He researched and taught at various American universities and was an assistant professor at the University of Bern from 2008 to 2014.
