Production & Process Engineering

InnoMedica has built its own production facilities, and maintained them according to GMP standards, right from the start. A strategy which pays off. Today, ten people are already employed in GMP production and process engineering bringing valuable know-how inside our company. With a view to future market approval of the products, the expansion of the infrastructure in Marly began in 2018 and a new, larger clean room has been built, which was put into operation in 2021.

Dr. Thomas Schick is head of the production team that produces InnoMedica's drugs under GMP conditions for use in the clinic since the end of 2020. With the new, larger Clean Room II, the production capacities are increasing, so the production team is continuously working on making our manufacturing processes more efficient.

Dr. Matthias Burgener and his team in the Process Engineering department enable the products developed by the research team to be translated into a routine GMP process. In addition, Process Engineering is responsible for the technical elements of process production equipment and devices, as well as the further development of the processes during infrastructure expansion in Marly.
