Prof. Dr. med. Patrick Hunziker has been a member of the Board of Directors of InnoMedica since 2025. He is Professor of Cardiology and Intensive Care Medicine and Deputy Chief Physician at the University Hospital Basel. In addition to his clinical work, he conducts research into the applications of nanoscience in medicine. He is the founding president of the International Society for Nanomedicine and co-initiated the annual European Conference for Clinical Nanomedicine (CLINAM).
Throughout his career, he has combined clinical and laboratory research. He completed his training at the University of Zurich, in Basel, and in Boston.
